This is going to chap some hinnies....
In fact, it had to be irksome to the Associated Press reporters and editors who had to report it.
Even the very biased associated press is having to admit this week that President Trump is seeing his best approval ratings-ever- in their surveys.
That includes going all the way back to ‘term one’.
Which is why these democrat mayors, governors, and other lawmakers should stop insisting it isn’t.
Whether they believe their deluded rhetoric and their rigged crime numbers or not, there’s a point at which you should ‘stop digging’.
We have another instance here in which, on this issue, perception is reality’.
It also happens to be that ‘reality is reality’. Most of your big cities -are- dangerous and high crime areas due to the way the democrats have managed them-
But- even if you refuse to believe that- this is an issue in which-clearly- perception is reality’. And when that’s the case, the politically smart thing to do is ‘pivot toward the voter’.
Instead, today’s dems are digging in and calling the voters stupid and wrong.
Well- gee. The people living and working in these cities should probably know better when it comes to ‘crime’ and what things are like ‘out on the streets than some elite congressmen or governors with a host of bodyguards and a professional and constant distance from the people. No?
But worse- we all know this democrat leaders are denying the obvious: Chicago is safe.
Except for the smash and grabs. And except for the murder of a businessman just walking to work Tuesday. And except for the kid’s wilding at night and shoplifting nearly every bit of merchandise on the shelves as they hit stores by the dozens...etc.
Oh, and the car-jackings. The numerous, never-ending carjackings.
Other than that- Chicago is a safe city.
Who are they trying to fool?
But it’s also noteworthy that trump also received his best poll ratings in this ap poll on several other key issues-including immigration, the economy, and the Ukraine war.
Trump sure seems to be ‘winning’ here, when it comes to the question of whether he’s doing a good job in this office.
There’s also ‘this measure’ of a lawmaker: how much money is pouring into their political coffers even when they aren’t really asking for it.
Folks, president trump can’t even run again. And he still said yesterday on truth social- that he’s raised 1.5-billion dollars- just since his November win.
And -as you’d expect-the story goes on to talk about how Trump ‘probably won’t’ try to ignore the rules and run for a third term and become a dictator-
But...being NBC...they felt the need to put that possibility in the story...as if it’s a real possibility: trump ...probably.... won’t move to become a dictator...but...we can’t rule that out.
Shut up, you alarmist dopes.
They should not be surprised that a president who is on the right side of nearly every important issue- and who has been this successful in simply ‘imposing his agenda’ across the board and in just seven short months....is a popular president.
And boy, does he have the left and their accomplices in the media rattled.
Now, everything Donald Trump says is being reported as ‘serious and ‘looming’.
For example, yesterday the president floated something that I’ve been suggesting for some time: we should be going after George Soros for funding all these anti-America, violent protest groups.
The Soros stooges responded by insisting they were offended and outraged- we do not support violent groups!
But they do.All sorts of rock-throwers and destroyers of property and attackers of people in Maga hats over the last ten years- have belonged to organizations-and protests-that Soros money is funding. All the Feds need to do is find the links.
But normally, this would be viewed as simple ‘ruminations’ from a president...or a goofy Donald Trump...
But given what he’s achieved in just seven months? And given how many leftist cages have been rattled...leftist temples have been attacked...and leftist enemies have had to lawyer-up-
This was immediately taken seriously by leftists, yesterday: oh my god, trump’s team is coming for our biggest source of activist dark money funding.
and I would love to see it. I’ve been calling for it. Please. Please...link George Soros to a few violent, anarchist groups....and either put him and his son in prison-or block them from any further participation in politics as part of a plea agreement.
