A lot is being made about Tom Brady’s first season with FOX calling NFL games with most folks being unimpressed by his debut effort, so much so that some are expecting him to hang up his microphone and concentrate on his part ownership of the Las Vegas Raiders. Doug comes to Brady’s defense and while he has nothing against Kevin Burkhardt who is fantastic, he thinks Tom needs a partner who can help him find his footing.
Doug Gottlieb: “When it’s (Kevin) Burkhardt, it feels like because he hasn’t maybe made it in the public eye, or maybe it’s because he’s trying so hard to just tee (Tom) Brady up, that it’s almost like an interview than it is them calling the game.”
