Milwaukee lost to Stephen F. Austin 66-51 in the consolation game of the Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic on Saturday after trailing by only four at halftime.
The Panthers had a four-point lead late in the first half, but it evaporated, and Stephen F. Austin ran out to a big double-digit lead in the early part of the second half and never looked back.
Milwaukee shot just four of 27 from deep, and no Panther reached double figures. Carson Warren-Newsome, Will Sessoms, and Jake Wright each finished with nine points.
Next up for Milwaukee (2-6) will be Drake on Thursday night at Panther Arena.
